Goal: extract the core insights from an entire batch of expert calls in one run, with consensus and conflicting positions mapped per topic, instead of summarizing each interview by hand.

Setup

Two inputs before launch:
  • A folder with the calls to review. The walkthrough processes 10 interviews on a single research topic simultaneously. VirtualBrain accepts audio recordings (mp3, m4a) and MP4 video alongside written transcripts, so calls can go in as-is.
  • Your key research questions. Define the questions the synthesis should answer. In the demo, they’re prepared in advance and pasted directly into the App.
This works for any project, research effort, or deal where you’ve accumulated interviews: expert networks, client calls, or internal workshops.

How it works

1

Profile each interviewee

The App reviews every interviewee’s profile and key experiences, compiling who they are and why they’re relevant to your research.
2

Map the themes

All themes and discussion topics across the interviews are identified, then mapped against each call, so you see which topics were addressed, and by whom.
3

Break down every interview

Each call gets an executive summary of its main points, plus a credibility score based on the interviewee’s experience and subject expertise.
4

Analyze topic by topic

For each topic, the App identifies areas of consensus between interviewees and highlights conflicting facts or elements that require your attention.

What you get

An executive report with key takeaways and an overview of all interviews:
  • A sharp executive summary of the full interview program.
  • Per-expert detail: each expert’s contributions and the weight their input carries in the analysis.
  • Consensus and outlier positions: where the experts agree, where they diverge, and which claims conflict, so you can form your own view quickly.
The synthesis step that usually consumes days of analyst time happens in one run.

Pro tips

  • Write research questions, not topics. “What drives switching costs in this market?” focuses the synthesis far better than “switching costs.”
  • Weigh outliers, don’t discard them. The credibility scores tell you whose dissent deserves a follow-up call; a low-consensus point from a high-credibility expert is often the finding that matters.
  • Verify attributed claims before they reach a client. Trace key takeaways back to the underlying interview before quoting an expert position in a deliverable.
  • Feed the output forward. The synthesized interview insights are exactly the internal documentation that strengthens a Company Benchmark run.
