Setup
All you need to start is the name of the person you’re meeting, whether prospect, client, or partner. To get the most out of the App, also gather:- Their title and company (or companies)
- Your meeting objective, for example persuading them to invest
- Optional: LinkedIn profiles or other relevant links, plus supporting documents like your offer or company presentation
- The Brain where this material lives (see Creating Brains)
How it works
1
Enter the target and objective
Provide the person’s name, title, company, and your objective for the meeting. Attach LinkedIn profiles, relevant links, and supporting documents.
2
Capture live LinkedIn content with the browser add-on
On the target’s profile, review their posts, expanding the full post when you need the complete content, and extract the ones that signal their main topics into the target’s file. Do the same with their comments to see who they interact with and what they discuss. When relevant, pull key experiences and education too.
3
Select the Brain and start the App
Back in the application, select the relevant Brain and launch. The first block reviews the company profile for each company you provided.
4
Sector trends and document review
The App researches current industry trends and challenges for context, then reviews your uploaded documents and extracts the key information, giving you a full analysis of the target’s activities, investments, and focus areas.
5
Deep research
A deep research phase builds a comprehensive view focused on your meeting objective, merging company intelligence with the target-specific content you captured. This report is your backup notes. Go here when you need depth on a specific topic.
6
Review the meeting brief
When time is short, this section may be all you need: an introduction to the target’s activities and why they matter for your topic, a summary of recent news and company actions with key figures and examples, and strategic questions designed to prompt specific answers.
7
Optional: relationship analysis and follow-up email
If you connect the App to your past customer interactions, it retrieves the history of your relationship with the company or target. You can also have it prepare a follow-up email to continue the conversation or secure the next meeting.
What you get
Two layers of preparation. A deep research report for when you need to drill into a topic, and on top of it a concise meeting brief carrying context, recent news with key figures, and a set of strategic questions that demonstrate expertise and uncover valuable information.Pro tips
- Don’t ask every generated question. Five or six well-chosen questions are typically enough; pick the ones most relevant to your objective. The goal is a productive conversation, not an interrogation.
- Scan posts before extracting. Skim enough of the target’s feed to identify their main topics, then capture the posts that matter. Quality of input drives quality of brief.
- Capture beyond LinkedIn. Active profiles often point to their own newsletters or blogs; pulling that content into the Brain makes future runs richer.
- Spot-check the figures. Check key numbers against their sources before you walk in. This is client-facing intelligence; treat it like any deliverable.
